Nova’s Systems Aerospace Program aspires, through skill, passion and professionalism, to enhance end-user capability by delivering professional services that support the acquisition and sustainment of Fixed Wing and UAV assets and their support systems. We do this by engaging with clients within the end user units and program offices to understand their needs, risks and issues in taking new complex equipment and systems to the operational domain. Nova provides services in engineering, system safety, weapons integration, T&E, platform and simulator certification, airworthiness and transition into service in the fixed wing / UAV domain which enable capability and reduce risk inherent in complex system acquisition.

Nova’s involvement in current and recent Aerospace projects includes support to the introduction into service of AEW&C Wedgetail under Air 5077, F-18F Super Hornet under AIR5349, UAVs (Heron, Shadow 200, Scan Eagle & Skylark) under Nankeen & JP129 and the Boeing 757 for the RNZAF. Nova is also supporting ongoing capability upgrades to in-service platforms such as the AP-3C under AIR5276. Nova has also recently completed the initial accreditation of the Super Hornet Advanced Flight Simulator and is currently performing the Recurrent Fidelity Checking for the AP-3C Advance Flight Simulator.
